We are using ACT for customer management and it is a real pain having to
maintain addresses and phone numbers in two databases. Is anyone using the
PT Contact Manager and is it at all useful?

Peachtree 2000 Apocalypse
Hi all,
Personally, I have suspected this since the day I inherited the Peachtree
2000 program (and found what kind of program it was), but now the day is
getting closer by the minute.
Don’t you think that is sort of odd that in the Future Customer section of
the website you cannot find Peachtree 2000 anywhere? In the small bussiness
section they have Peachtree 2002 and in the medium size bussiness section
they have Peachtree’s Special Edition of MAS90.
Peachtree 2000 only appears in the current customers section along with
other dying-breed products.
I don’t think that’s a good sign. Let’s see what happens, I just remebered
that I saw a post about Peachtree for MAC v3.5 (that product sure went
well). Or I’m being too paranoid? Don’t think so !!!

Account Not Footing in period X
Anyone have any idea for fixing this issue in v8.0? I have tried all sync
test, reindexed all files … pretty much exhausted all integrity check
permutations.
In previous versions, I used the "sortjob.dat" rename trick which worked
pretty consistently. I believe the sirtjob file has gone bye-bye in v8.
Suggestions?
Thanks in Advance …
PO field from sales Order on Crystal Report
We are trying to create an open sales order report and have gotten
every field to work except the customer’s purchase order from the
sales order. WE listed "purchase Order" but it shows up blank. Any
ideas?

How to set up a bank account in peach tree
I am new to Peachtree (or any accounting software…) I set up the company.
Now I want to set up the bank account and post the deposit (basically my
initial
investment), how do I go about it.

Tracking partially paid vendor invoices
I need to track payable invoices for my home renovation project. I need to
be able to track which line items are actually being paid. For example, I
might have an invoice as follows:
1 A/C unit $3500
1 A/C labor $500
1 Humidifier $500
If I pay $2250, I want to be able to credit $1750 to the A/C unit, $250 to
the labor, and none to the humidifier because it’s broken. Then I’d like
to be able to see what line items still have outstanding balances.
I have downloaded the evaluation version of Peachtree, and I can’t figure
out how to assign my payment to specific line items on a vendor invoice;
payments seem to be applied to the invoice as a whole. I’d hate to have to
enter each line item as a separate vendor invoice. Can this be done? If
not in Peachtree, any other recommendations?

Peachtree 7 .. Anyone know how to remove (is it possible) to remove the "are

Lock table full.
For some reason I keep receiving "Error in file ‘p:\STATUS.DAT’. Lock table
full." whenever I try to get into Peachtree 2002. It is on a network share
and I’ve rebooted both my system and the server where the files are located,
per the instructions in the help information (which didn’t actually help at
all).
Since my upgrade to the patch available peachtree.com (PCW902K), on occasion
when starting, PEACHW.EXE will eat up my CPU processor (usually 100%) and I
have no alternative but to terminate it and try again. Usually it works
fine the second time in.
Any suggestions on how I can clear the "Lock table full" error would be
greatly appreciated.
