the numbers in this report are all wrong. also the inventory profitability
report is all wrong too.
i’m using peachtree complete accounting 2002, multi user version. apparently
even though i set the time period from say 8/1/02 to 8/30/02, sales from the
past year are included. so even though i sold 0 parts of one item in august,
1000 pcs will show up, as i sold 1000 pcs 7 months ago.
is some file corrupted? do i need to reset something?
thanks,

I have had the same problem with every version I have used up to the current
version (2003). On the history tab on the maintain inventory screen, it
seems to combine the totals for the same month last year with the current
month. Technical Support at Peachtree has never been able to help me with
this problem…. so I have given up on being able to rely on these figures
as being reliable.

To: Bob & Gary et al,
Re: Inventory activity report
For many years and many versions of PCAW many people including myself have complained about this "bug". There has even been a discussion as to whether it is a bug
or not since it is a data error. I was able to successfully implement the Integrity Check as described by "The Wolf" below to rectify the multiple year buildup. This changed
the history "bug" to a "feature" which translates to " It’s a PIA bug which you can work around."
Finally, the "Never choose these options without being instructed to do so by a Peachtree Technical Support Person." dire warnings scare the hell out of me so I back up
several times and several ways before starting.
